History
Built for American Can, by Russel Bros. In the 1950's as an alligator.
Worked over 30 years on the Pic River, then purchased by Purvis Marine Ltd.
In 1990 a complete remodelling, involved a new superstructure and a steam plant that consisted
of a 2 cylinder 3x3 high pressure steam engine and a propane fired boiler.
In 1992 the engine was replaced by a 3x5.5x3 cmpd engine and a surface condenser.
